Clinical Supervision
Supervision is an essential part of ethical therapeutic practice and should offer a reflective space in which to develop practice, uphold clinical standards, gain personal & professional insight and benefit client experience.
From my own experience, I believe that in order to be able to fully explore these areas, a trusting working relationship is vital and having the right supervisor can significantly impact a practitioner’s confidence, practice and progression as a practitioner.
Let me tell you a bit about how I work.
I am a qualified Clinical Supervisor with over 6 years experience. I strive to work collaboratively with my supervisees, where I aim to provide a supportive, resourceful environment to discuss clinical work, explore challenging case material, stimulate creativity, contemplate alternative ways of working, identify areas for professional development, enhance competence, consider self-care and celebrate achievement.
As I work from an integrative perspective, I offer supervision for practitioners who work with a variety of modalities including (but not limited to);

I thoroughly enjoy providing supervision and so I present enthusiasm and positive energy in my sessions, always encouraging and respectful of my fellow practitioners who equally seek to co-create safety in their work with their clients, uphold ethical practice, enhance the quality of service provided, advance their learning and adhere to the requirements of their regulatory body.
I provide supervision to practitioners working in a wide range of settings, with children, young people, adults, older adults, couples and families. These settings include Counselling Agencies & Placements, Schools, Colleges, Universities, Charities, Wellbeing Centres, EAPs, Secured Facilities, Eating Disorder Clinics, Bereavement Services, Chronic Illness & Palliative Care Units, Family Therapy Services and Independent Private Practice.
I offer individual & group clinical supervision to:-
- Counsellors in training
- Newly qualified & experienced Therapists
- Relationship/Couples Counsellors
- Supervisors, for their work with students, qualified counsellors, individually & in groups.
- Practitioners who also integrate Therapeutic Coaching into their work
- Professionals working in various caring and front line professions such as social services, educational services, the prison service and hospices.
I also have significant experience in supporting Counsellors to successfully gain BACP Accreditation and NCPS Professional Accreditation status, in addition to setting up their own private practice, ensuring they are aware of the ethical and legal requirements involved.
If you believe my style of supervision could meet your needs and preferences, I would be delighted to hear from you. Please make contact and we can arrange a no-cost consultation, thank you.
I'm pleased to be working alongside Sarah as my Supervisor. Maintaining standards within the profession and providing our clients with the best possible service is crucial and she helps me to ensure that best practice and high standards are upheld at all times.
